ROTAX Fly-In 2020 Cancelled
With great concern we acknowledge the rise of COVID-19 infections around the globe. This rise has reached a level, also locally in Austria, where we can not ignore the potential risk this is imposing on all visitors and people involved in the Rotax Fly In, scheduled for August, 21st to 23rd, 2020. We have therefore come to the tough decision that a move of this event is the only solution at this point in time to warrant health and safety of all of us. But instead of simply cancelling this event, we update our invitation for all of you to a new slot:
Date: August, 20th to 22nd, 2021
Location: Airfield LOLW (Weisse Moewe Wels)

EASA Certification of ROTAX 915 ISC3 an aircraft engine in time.
The BRP-ROTAX Team celebrates the 915 iSc3 A Type Certificate form EASA.
BRP receives the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Type Certificate (TC) for its new ROTAX 915 iSc3 aircraft engine.
Not only has the certification been achieved within the promised time schedule but the engine has been certified to even higher power than originally announced. Instead of 100kW (136hp) we will offer 104kW (141hp) maximum power and 99kW (135hp) maximum continuous power. Once again providing the ultimate flight experience to pilots.
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) promotes the highest standards of safety and environmental protection in civil aviation in Europe and worldwide. After the EASA Type Certification, BRP’s Rotax aircraft engines team will concentrate on getting the American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification. Other countries will follow as each has its own validation process.
